Royal Ascot Horse Racing

Royal Ascot is Britain’s most wealthy race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for more than £5.5milllion in prize money and an invaluable reputation. It is also one of the oldest race meetings dating back to 1711, founded by Queen Anne. Not only a major event in the British social calendar, but it’s a catwalk for fashion aficionados. Press coverage of the famous attendees, Ladies Day and their attire are as important as the race meeting itself. However, an experience to view glamour, royalty and tradition collectively.

Wimbledon Championship Tennis

Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and widely considered the most prestigious.
The tournament takes place over two weeks in late June and early July, culminating with the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles Final, scheduled for the second Saturday and Sunday respectively. But for visitors, it’s also about the ambience of strawberries and cream, and champagne. We recommend a visit to the new Wimbledon Tennis Museum where visitors will realise how a garden party turned into one of the world’s largest events. View memorabilia displays from 1877, watch actual footage from famous matches and enjoy
a vast collection of artifacts.

The Derby

The Epsom Derby is still ranked as the greatest flat race in the world and one of Great Britain’s most traditional days out. It is synonymous with the British summer of sport, and the most prestigious of the country’s five Classics. Access to public grounds or private hospitality boxes are available for every age and budget – for both groups and individuals.

The Boat Race

The Boat Race is an annual rowing race between the Oxford University Boat Club and the Cambridge University Boat Club, and is as quintessentially British as you can get. It usually takes place on the last weekend of March or the first weekend of April. The first race was in 1829 and the event has been held annually since 1856, except during the First and Second World Wars. The course covers a 4.2 mile (6.8 km) stretch of the Thames in West London, from Putney to Mortlake. Members of both teams are traditionally known as blues and each boat as a “Blue Boat”, with Cambridge in light blue and Oxford dark blue. Come and join us at a pub on the River Thames for a pint and a flutter on the race. We know the best places to be.

The Grand National

The most eagerly anticipated steeplechase in the world, the Grand National tests 40 runners and riders around two circuits of the National course at Aintree.

Simply breathtaking and so much more than a race, the elegance and excitement of the crowd, have come
to symbolise the spectacle. The obstacles to be overcome are as famous as the race itself: Becher’s Brook, the Canal Turn, Valentine’s and the Chair are fences known around the globe. Join us for a fabulous weekend of racing and fashion. We will find you the perfect place for you to stay without paying top dollar prices.
