We’re always amazed that when London appears “full” there’s always availability out there. How about some quirky ideas to do whilst you’re here?
Ride the fastest inner city zip wire, just opened on the South Bank. Feel the adrenaline rush as you zip from the equivalent of nine double-decker buses high, at fifty miles per hour-and view The Shard, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and more.
Head over to the Royal Borough of Greenwich, home of the O2 for alternative dizzy heights. Conquer the O2 by climbing over the roof at sunset? You’ll be adorned with a harness and be under the constant watchful eye of a qualified instructor-but you’ll have a real sense of achievement at the end of the climb. While you are there, you can take a short round trip on the cable car-and then just chill at one of the many bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
Finally-fans of the fumbling waiter, Manuel, in the TV series, Fawlty Towers will love the production of Faulty Towers re-enacted. A three-course meal is followed by hilarious comedy, the laughter will make you cry and the participating experience will stay with you for ever!
